In the event of cancellation, Curtailment and Rearrangement, the Insurance Company will reimburse the insured as follows:

Holiday Insurance is £30.00 per holiday week and should be taken out when the holiday is booked if required. Detailed form sent on request .

The following is a brief synopsis of the cover provided – the full wording may be inspected at the site office.

Cancellation, Curtailment and Rearrangement

If you have to cancel, cut short or re- arrange your holiday because of illness, accidental injury, redundancy, quarantine, jury service, theft or accidental damage at home, we will pay up to the cost of the holiday, but not exceeding the sum insured. In addition, if you are delayed more than 24 hours because of mechanical breakdown, adverse weather of industrial action which affects your ship or aircraft, we will reimburse you if you decide to cancel your holiday.

Personal Accident

If you are accidentally injured while on holiday we will pay you a lump sum if the injury results in Death, Loss of Limb or Eye, or Permanent inability to work again.
( £2,000 lump sum per insured person)

Emergency Travel Expenses

Cover for additional transport and accommodation costs necessitated by injury or illness. In the event of death the cost of the funeral and returning the body or ashes, and personal effects, to your place of residence is also included.
( up to £300 per insured person)

BAGGAGE

For loss of, or damage to your personal belongings taken on holiday with you.
( up to £300 per insured person, single article limit £75)

 MONEY

For loss of, or damage to, your personal belongings taken on holiday with you.
( up to £100 per insured person)

PERSONAL LIABILITY

If you are held to be legally liable for or damage to other people or their property, (but not to your employers) cover is provided to pay for damages and claimants’ costs and expenses.
( up to £250,000 per insured person)
